Description

The Marketing Specialist will support the marketing and communication initiatives of Axos Clearing. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in the execution of clearing and custody marketing strategies. This person will participate in building the corporate brand, positioning and market share within communication channels such as website, advertising collateral, social media, digital marketing including emails, newsletters, etc. Successful candidates will possess a strong attention to detail, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and proven writing/editing skills. This position will report directly to the VP, Marketing, but will collaborate closely with the Business Development Team.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, milestones and track the effectiveness and timeliness of projects
  • Develop and implement tracking of marketing effectiveness and return on investment
  • Provide support for company sponsored and industry conferences and forums.
  • Assist with coordination of tradeshow/booth requests with supporting materials, giveaways and other logistics for the business development team
  • Manage and post content for social media channels, assists in developing blog content, reviewing performance and updating blog content
  • Act as a backup to create content, maintain and implement updates for print and digital channels for internal and external audiences
  • Manage promotional items inventory, place reorders as requested and work with vendors to ensure the best pricing

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements

  • Resourceful and self-directed. You can tackle anything from story assignments to projects with minimal direction, and you consistently deliver polished work
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing projects at once
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social Media, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience writing for consumer and business audiences
  • Ruthlessly detail-oriented
  • Creative thinker
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Familiarity with AP Style preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support teams
  • Comfortable embracing change

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements

3+ years' of Marketing experience in a similar role
