  • Identify, evaluate, monitor and mitigate market and credit risk of client and IBD accounts held at the clearing firm
  • Interface with all correspondents to monitor and mitigate risks associated with each correspondents type of business
  • Assist in the development of financial risk management tools and practices to analyze and report on financial market risks and to manage risks according to a financial risk management framework and relevant policies
  • Follow the Company's financial risk management policies, limits, and strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and strategic imperatives of the organization

Key Skill Sets or Knowledge Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Brokerage and Clearing business with experience in Financial Market Risk Management and other Regulatory issues
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work independently, sound decision-making abilities and strong oral and written communication and human relations skills
  • An understanding of risk management systems, spreadsheet and relational database software

Desired Career Experience & Education Requirements

  • College degree preferably in accounting, economics or finance, or equivalent experience
  • Risk Management designations
  • 2+ years' in the in the financial services or brokerage industry
  • 2+ years' in risk management within the financial services or brokerage industry


  • FINRA licenses 7, 63, and 25
